IN SEARCH OF TRUTH

From now on this blog will bring you face to face with the incongruities of religion and most importantly, ask the question, which is the correct religion?

We are all aware that numerousity of religions abound. The question, therefore, is which one of these religions is the true one even though they all claim to be correct and bringers of salvation onto mankind. God and religion have been regarded
as one by the religious people, yet there are other people who do not think that it
is important in life to think of or even talk about God. And when you consider what the so called religious people do it will seem as if everything about religion is deception. So how can we arrive at a true and definitive answer to all the questions
created by the religious divisions? Are the Christians the real chosen people of God?
Are the Moslems the chosen people of God? What of the Hindus or the Buddhist, are
they religious people and one with God? Has anyone really ever died and then came
back to life? Why is resurrection only connected with Jesus and who can prove that
Jesus founded a religion and if so when and where did he found it? And why are his followers so disintegrated into multifarious denominations each with a special prayer methods to the same God?

Well, in all claims there must both truth and falsehood unknown to those who hear the claimants. Yet what is very incontrovertible is that human beings are capable of misleading claims. Ofcourse this blog does not intend to accuse religious institutions of misleading people for no one really knows the truth about God and whether religion really means anything special to him unlike soccer.

We all are desirous of being in God's good book, so we look for ways of believing and worshiping him for our own good. This our quest must therefore be based on a fundamental foundation of truth. As Christians the basis of our truth must be the holy bible through which every Christian attempts to orientate himself spiritually. But this must be done spiritually right without any distortion of the basis of the Christian truth.

Then the Lord answered Job out of the storm. He said: Who is this that darkens my counsel with words without knowledge?
Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you will answer me. Where were you when I laid earth's foundation?
Tell me if you understand?

SAY:
-No one knows the ways of the Lord
-With Him all things are possible
-My God is a God of purpose
-And my life is a life of purpose

PROBLEM:
Due to lack of personal spiritual growth, the biggest problem people face is inability to accept the truth about God and His creation, part of which they are. They don't understand that "with God all things are possible" and that "all things" do not preclude unfavorable circumstances in our lives, which are on purpose in spite of our desires and stage of spiritual growth.

Be that as it may, rejoice in the knowledge that you have salvation in Christ,bible study for spiritual growth that enables prayers to break all breakable yokes in this dynamic life in which change for worse or better is driver.

Friend, Christ said: "all things have come to me by my Father (did you get that, all things, even his tribulations). No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him. Come to me, all ;you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

So friend, if your life is at a low ebb right now, don't you break down and forsake the Lord, "be of good cheer" while working and praying for experiencing growth spiritual- Prayer without work is a profanity; life smiles back at those whose faces are cheerful. Believe in goodness and shine your light for all to see, and your life will be filled with light, salvation and spiritual growth.Despondency, self loathing or being judgmental are all weights that will definitely weigh you down. But if you believe in yourself while trusting in divine providence,
you will surely find your God given talent and attain your given goals in life without frustration, needless stress, faithlessness and depression - None of the above is a foundation for inner healing and spiritual growth, rather they destroy the soul.

-Love and pray to God with all your heart
-Love yourself and your neighbor with all your heart
-Do your work with all your heart
-Be faithful to God and family with all your heart
-Have the fear of God in all you do
-Let go and let God in all matters above your control.

BELIEVE

-Spiritual growth depends on a discipline and prudent life
-A disciplined and predent life depends on the fear of God
-The fear of God depends on knowledge of the Word of God and personal development for spiritual growth

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:

My God is a God of purpose and his purpose for me is for all that is good. He is my shepherd, I shall neither want nor go astray as I lead a disciplined and prudent life in His holly name.

God's Will and man's desire:

God is unfathomable, but that He is a purposeful God is so obvious that no one requires a spiritual growth workshop to know that. See, the costliest element of life, oxygen, is free, and no one knows what is in stock for him or her. Everything in creation belongs to God according to his Will. The only things that belong to man are his desires, which may become reality only in God's Will. So friend, desire reasonably knowing that only His Will will be done as you are fasting for spiritual growth.

RIGHTEOUS HAPPINESS AS FOUNDATION OF LIFE

Each of us was created with a divine purpose of God. But whether you live your life happily or otherwise depends on your values/desires, and above all the realization or not that winning and losing are both inevitable parts of life, and temporary. So what sense is there in worrying about temporaries? Therefore, friend, create righteous happiness through the thoughts you hold and the actions they engender. Create happiness for as many people as possible, and happiness will be linked to you from them and their acquaintances, and you will be happy to the end, especially if you find yourself a spiritual growth church where sermon is based on spiritual growth .

GOALS
Be diligent in both work and prayer while pursuing righteous goals with cheeful disposition, God made no mistake creating you, remain alive to God by trust, He is the owner of life, and you will emerge triumphant in all situations.

Prison Experience of Henry Ezenwa and God's love and forgivesness

The day of judgement came. As I walked into the court room I was facing a life sentence, but I pleaded guilty, but unlike our President, Olusegun Obasanjo I committted all the crime.

As I walked into the courtroom, there as a cloud of smoke that enveloped the court and I knew that God allowd His presence there; and so it was time for the prosecutor to speak, the prosecutor that was prosecuting me, one of them actually spoke on my behalf and when I was given an opportunity to address the Court, I acknowledged my guilt and asked that the Judge would tempter justice with mercy.

The Judge, actually his hands were tied becuause he couldn’t go outside the sentencing guidelines which was seventeen and a half to twenty-two years in prison. Without giving any cogent reason, the Juddge went way behond the sentencing guidelines and I was given 63 months, even then I never believed that I would do the 63 months.

A day that it would be two years of my being incarcerated I received a letter from the Court that the rest of my sentence had been suspended because of good behaviour.

And to God be the glory, on the eve of my sentencing I stood up, because I'd studied the bible voraciously and when I saw anything tht looked so unreal or impossible I would put God to a test and each time I did He proved himself. So I received Christ into my life June 1995.

When I did an unusual peace , peace that had always eluded me, because there has always been a vacuum in my heart that I'd always wanted to fill and this vacuum I had always wanted to fill by rinking, smoking, and womanizing but not until I met Christ in prison that that vacuum was filled.

And so as I was speaking to my wife on the phone and said I had never been tht happy in my life; she said you must be crazy, how could you be in prison and be talking like that. But as God would have it, she was facing some challenges in her place of work and I would pray for her and things would happen.

Soon after that she gave her life to Christ also.

- The righteous are those whose lives are right before God.

Prison Experience of Henry Ezenwa and God's love and forgivesness

After about 2-3 years, I was having a turnover of about 3 - 5 million dollars a year but it got to a time that the people working for me were getting arrested and in January of 1995, I was arrested.

Before then in 1993, I had met the wonderful lady who is now my wife. I had wanted to come back to Nigeria to do business but when I met her I decided to stay back more. In so doing I trold her what I was doing and she insisted I must get out of the business which by the grace of God I was able to do.

But there was a drug law, which I had contravened, and eventually I was arrested and I was facing a life sentence. I was flown from Houston to Dallas where my case originated. While in detention, several Christians came and made overtures for me to receive Christ into my my life; of course I repuslsed them severely.

A time came when I was challenged by some guy from Ivory Cost, a young man of about 21 who was my cell mate. He lived a pious life. He was always fasting and so I go challenged and I said God, if truly you are God p[rove yourself to me. I want to serve you but I don't wan to serve you in prison. Arise on my behalf. So I went into a convenant with Him, saying "prove yourself to me and I will serve you for the rest of my life."

My Prison Experience - Henry Ezenwa

My name is Hentry Ezenwa. I was born August 10 1961 Tuesday next week will be my 44th birthday. I grew up in a wonderful loving family. I grew up in Enugu the capital of eastern Nigeria. I went to school there before gaining entrance into the Nigerian defense Academy and by the grace of God I was eighth out of the thousands of people that took the exam. This was in 1979 and I was of the 42 Regular Course. I was there for two years even though my father resisted vehemently.

After two year I had gotten tired of the whole setup because I realized it wasn't for as easy as I though it could be. There was so much dichotomy and bickering among the various tribes. So I left and proceeded to the United Stats of America to study.

I went to Dallas Texas, Bishop College where I studied Business Administration. While there I was living life in a fast lane. I got into drug, I was importing and distributing drug in the USA and I had all that I need: flashy cars, beautiful women and all the alcohol that I could drink. This was the kind of life that I led for quite sometime.

Do you have any idea how much God loves you?

- We cannot live without God's love.
- Human love is wonderful, BUT God's love is far greater.
- There is someone who loves you dearly.
- God's love for you is everlasting and nothing can change that.

DECLARATION: I am valuable and precious to God and He loves me!
